SkyCap is an add-on for Skype for Windows platforms. The application allows you to record your sessions on Skype. In other words, if you download SkypeCap and install it, it will become a gateway between Skype and the Internet, and, thus, will be able to capture all the traffic that goes through it. Of course, it won't record all your chats or video chats if you don't want it to. That is the good thing about it. After a quick setup, you will be able to selectively add video, audio or text chats to the application and they will be recorded. Then, you can open them on the application or any multimedia player. There are many uses I can think for this application. Many people take courses via Skype, and recording those would be a great opportunity to have reference material later on in your life. Also, you can record your video chats with your family to show other members of your family. The possibilities are endless. Also, this is a shareware application. The functionality of SkypeCap will be reduced unless you buy the thing. If you have a need for it, I'd recommend buying this application. It certainly works great. |
